Former Federal Reserve Bank of New York President Bill Dudley says the Fed has "learned from experience" and won't repeat the quantitative tightening strategy that led to a disruptive cast crunch in 2019. "I think the Fed is going to be tapering the rate of how its balance sheet shrinks as we get deeper into this process," Dudley says on Bloomberg Television. "I don't think they're going to make the same mistakes this time."
