Hundreds of thousands of people in the Dallas-Fort Worth area were without power Tuesday morning after a string of dangerous thunderstorms brought tornado warnings, flooding and wind gusts as high as 70 mph (113 kph). According to Oncor, which distributes electricity across North Texas, about 645,000 customers were affected.
