The crypto markets are pumping and there’s green across the board. Bitcoin is up 3.7%, as it trades for $52,109. Ethereum is up 10%, as it trades for $2,900. Investors are rejoicing as it looks like we are approaching the bull run. However, Mark Goodwin, Editor in Chief at Bitcoin Magazine, believes we should take a deeper look at what's really going on and more importantly, what’s coming. As a guest on What Bitcoin Did, Goodwin gave a detailed explanation and history of Larry Fink, Chairman and CEO of Blackrock. Goodwin explained that the Bitcoin ETF has been a very long time coming, dating back to the 70s. Of course Bitcoin was not created then, but the patterns of Larry Fink and how he morphed with technology over a 50 year span and his contribution to niche markets, provides a foreshadowing of what’s to come. According to Goodwin, Fink and Blackrock, along with others in the Bitcoin ETF, particularly Bank of America, do not have a clean slate when it comes to criminal activity in financial markets. Goodwin believes this play on the crypto market is their new way to frontrun the new financial system that was inevitably going to take place, and he certainly questions their true intention.
