With the Fed announcing rate hikes moving forward, Cathie believes the Fed will catch onto what she’s seeing in the market, and realize that they cannot keep tightening the economy and once that happens, we will be in a deflationary environment, which Cathie has been predicting for some time now. In the face of $4.00 per gallon gas price Nationwide, with some places such as New York and California experiencing $5 per gallon. Food prices are up over 20%, and Home prices are up many experts and analysts are not calling for a deflationary environment yet Cathie is confident her research will win out, and she believes we are seeing it now with the decline of Big Box stores such of Walmart, Target and Home Depot. Cathie believes disruptive technology will thrive during a volatile economic environment, and from her research, she believes brick and mortar businesses that enjoyed a nice bump in consumer spending last year due to the easing of covid restrictions, will get wrecked with more and more people moving toward online due to energy concerns.
