After the fall of Terra, many pundits, analysts, and investors are starting to sound more like bitcoin maxi’s, although the price doesn’t necessarily show bullish action. Bitcoin is currently trading at $30,136, down 1.2% in the past 7 days. In comparison, many altcoins are showing more bearish action; Solana is down 12% in the past 7 days, trading at around $50 at the time of writing. Cardano is down 8%, Avalanche is down 14.5% and XRP is down 6%. During this bearish action, it appears that the Altcoins are leading the bloodbath. The broader crypto market is deep in the red zone, as half of the top 30 cryptocurrencies are 80% (or more) down from all-time highs. In comparison, Bitcoin and Ethereum have dropped 61% and 64%, respectively. Global Macro Investor Lyn Alden suggests that maybe the market and investors are picking up on the altcoin’s unsustainable models. Lyn Alden went on a tweetstorm, calling out the altcoins amidst the Terra Luna collapse. Alden forecasted the trouble ahead of Luna before the eventual collapse in a letter to her followers.
