In a response to an open letter addressed to him, Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson vehemently defended Cardano and clarified any misconstrued notions of what the coin represents. The open letter accused Hoskinson of taking the side of dangerous Right-Wing thoughts and rhetoric, liking to that of Elon Musk and Jordan Peterson. Charles denied taking any stance, as far as politically, but the only stance he stood behind was that of open communication and healthy debate. Charles believes that the mainstream media is brainwashing the masses to create a divide where open debate is not tolerated. Anyone who opposes a mainstream thought will be canceled, which was most prevalent during the pandemic, when anyone who questions the origin of the virus or its solution was completely canceled, but now that we have the beauty of hindsight on our side, we can now see that the questions were not ridiculous. The open letter took shots at Hoksinson for not being anonymous like Bitcoin and catering to the alt-right with Cardano’s protocols.
