Alden posted a well received, detailed blog post on her site explaining how the federal reserve is now operating at a financial loss for the first time in modern history. The article explained how we got here and what it means for savers and investors. Her conversation on What Bitcoin Did, Alden delved deeper into the aspects covered in the article and gave a frightening background on just how the federal reserve works and how it appears that the whole deck of cards are coming down. For lack of a better term, Alden essentially called the operations of the federal reserve, a “ponzi scheme”, as their whole operation as the arbitrage middle man depends on uneducated new customers who don’t fully understand the full workings of the bank. Alden believes that if many knew how the banks actually worked and what their true role was in our financial system, many people would opt for different alternatives and wouldn’t look at the banks as a safety net to keep their finances.
