The banking failure has shaken the global markets, with plenty of finger pointing going around. Many are blaming venture capitalists for causing a run on the bank, others are blaming poor management and many fingers are being pointed at the Federal Reserve for raising rates so rapidly. Whatever the blame, it seems that this is just the beginning of a long road for recovery. In his podcast, Chamath Palihapitiya expressed his concern about what’s going on. In Chamath’s view, the backstops being provided by the government is just kicking the can down the road and from Chamath’s view, we need to mark the calendar for 1 year out, because that's when we can see the effect of what’s currently happening.
