At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading for $23,088.07, up 9% in the past week. The sentiment around Bitcoin price action is split, as there is a camp that believes this is the ultimate bull trap... And then there’s a camp that believes $15,000 was the low and Bitcoin is heading for a bull run.
Pseudonymous analyst Capo, for example, told his 710,000 Twitter followers current rally is not going to end well for crypto bulls;
“I’ve been checking charts all this time, avoiding noise from Twitter. The way the upward movement is happening, the way high timeframe resistances are being tested. It clearly looks manipulated, no real demand. Once again, the biggest bull trap I’ve ever seen. But they won’t trap me.”
On the other hand, Pseudonymous analyst PlanB told his million-plus followers that this is the beginning of the bull run and strong indicators suggest so;
“To be clear, in my opinion current Bitcoin pump is not a bull trap but the (early) start of the next bull run.”
PlanB pointed to the strength of Bitcoin’s RSI as an indication of the bull run is just starting.
Investor Mark Yusko’s sentiment falls in between the extremes. In an interview with the Paul Barron Network, Yusko stated that he believes we are in the crypto spring and this run-up to $23,000 can very well see a retrace to $18,000, as just like the spring weather, things can get choppy. Nonetheless, Yusko believes we are heading for new highs in 2024 with the halving just around the corner.
