The Banks are failing and once again, the number rule of crisis control (at least when you’re a politician or government official) is to act as if everything is good. When it was blatantly obvious to the general public that inflation was running rampant, the Federal Reserve suggested that inflation was transitory. Now, with more banks going under and what looks like a banking crisis to the naked eye, Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell suggests that the banking system is solid.
Investor and Bitcoin enthusiast Greg Foss believes that Jerome Powell is full of it, and he knows there’s a major crisis underway. In an interview with Kitco News, Foss explained that he believes the banking system is under real stress and that there’s at least 20 more banks that are underwater but just haven’t folded quite yet. Foss believes that hard assets, in particularly Bitcoin, is the only way to hedge what’s coming. Lets listen to what Gregg has to say.
